Interschool Sport - Season 2 wrap up
Interschool Sport at St Clare’s has come to an end with the conclusion of Season 2 Sport. Well done to all the students who participated in either Touch Football, Soccer or Rugby Union over the last 6 weeks, playing against many different schools from the Thuringowa district.
Highlights from each sport:
Soccer - St Clare’s had success with the competitive girls Soccer team taking out the win in the grand final - incredible effort!
Touch - Both our junior boys and girls Touch teams made the grand final but narrowly missed out on claiming the shield in both.
Rugby Union - Best and Fairest vouchers were handed out to Abel, Peter, Ben and Jack for their ability to continue the sportsmanship culture and reputation of the school. Well done, boys!
U10s Blackhawks Challenge
Good luck to our U10s team who are playing in the Blackhawks Challenge next Friday at the Brothers Rugby League Grounds. Teams from all across the North will be competing in the day long competition. I am sure they will make St Clare’s proud!
