Toys at School

Just a reminder that children should not be bringing toys to school. This includes fidgets, trading cards, and general toys. If it is for Show and Share, toys must be given to the classroom teacher on arrival. If children are found to have these items, they will be confiscated and returned at the end of the school day.

Student Protection Week

Next week we will celebrate Student Protection Week. Students will take part in activities that focus on safety, respect, and looking out for one another, reinforcing the message that every child has the right to feel safe at school and in the wider community.

Book Week

This Friday we are all extremely excited to celebrate Book Week, a wonderful event in the school calendar. Our appreciation goes to our Library staff, Mrs Rafferty and Mrs Wilson, for their ongoing dedication. We also thank Mrs Dollisson for her work in promoting a love of reading and helping prepare activities for Book Week. We look forward to seeing school doors decorated for the occasion.

Soccer Field Update

This week we introduced new line markings on the soccer field to support safe and fair play. Students were shown their designated play areas, and staff have been monitoring the new arrangements during break times. We are also exploring the addition of an area for Year 4 and 5 students to play touch football. These changes are part of our ongoing commitment to providing safe and positive play spaces for all children.

Father’s Day Breakfast

Last week we enjoyed a wonderful Father’s Day celebration at school. A special thank you to our P&F for hosting such a great morning for our dads and father figures.

Staff Reflective Practice Day – Student Free Day

Last Friday, our staff engaged in a Reflective Practice Day. We thank our families for supporting us with this important opportunity for professional growth.

Eisteddfod

Congratulations to our students who participated in the recent Eisteddfod. We are so proud of the way they represented our school and their wonderful achievements, including placing in several events. A very special thank you to Mrs Todd for her dedication in preparing and supporting the students throughout the competition.
